Cassia knew she wanted to be a jewelry designer when she was 11 years old. As a child, she started to playfully draw some pieces and show them to her mother, who supported her from the beginning. After a few years, she learned a lot to do it professionally.

After she got married, she moved from Brazil to Switzerland to learn more about design and also to be closer to the most famous jewelry centers so she could learn from them. But what really motivated her to choose jewelry design and develop a different concept and not just open another jewelry store was after some difficult years. She saw on TV some of the environmental problems related to the garbage thrown into the sea.

After seeing this news on TV and learning about environmental issues, especially related to the oceans, Cassia decided to learn about recycling and using pet bottles to develop her jewelry, as is common in Brazil and Spain, where materials are reused for handicrafts. She realized that she could combine her passion as a jewelry designer with the fight for a better world.

In the meantime, she spent three years researching the technique of using PET bottles to make her jewelry (a technique she has patented worldwide) combined with gold and refined materials, and felt confident in offering her creations for sale. This is how her studio and her company were born.
